"Style is the perfection of a point of view."
Richard Eberhart American Poet
Recently, Little Augury sent a gift my way and I was honored to receive it. Needless to say it means a lot to me since she has inspired me to do this blog.
I have always enjoyed her mix of fashion, style, and interiors, that are always beautifully held together by art. Her stream of images that flow seamlessly together with a thought process that is different and evocative, continues to intrigue me. In a nod to her love of art, Patti Smith, and a brilliant point of view - one of my favorite artists, poet, print maker and mystic, William Blake:
The Auguries of Innocence...
To see a World in a Grain of Sand And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand And Eternity in an hour.
As for me, I am a decorative artist who is obsessed with all things that relate to art and design, and seem to have a singular focus as far as that is concerned, much to the chagrin of family and friends!
It is such a wonderful world out there in the blog sphere learning, playing, and getting inspired. These are the ten blogs that I have discovered.

I would like to add one whom I wish will continue to blog.
These are the rules, as were shared with me. Of course, to do with as you wish...
"These awards carry a price (with a c not a z!), better known as rules, and they are as follows:
1. Thank and link back to the person who awarded you (DONE)
2. Share 7 things about yourself.
3. Award 10 other bloggers
4. Contact those bloggers and tell them about the award
(some will be thrilled and they should, always nice to get a nod from one's peers-
and some will just moan- and bemoan -and they should not)
Kaveri! you are too kind and how I appreciate so much to hear that I helped inspire you to this blog- a rare gift to tell the story and capture it equally as well on the canvas. How appropriately you named this place. Again thank you and you deserve every accolade. Gaye
ReplyDeleteThanks again Patricia...
